Federation for Research MATH-Americas (FRA Matham)
A coordination network for the CNRS International Research Laboratories (IRLs) in mathematics across the Americas.
FRA MATH-AMERICAS aims to become a network for coordinating and proposing joint initiatives for its member units. In particular, FRA MATH-AMERICAS seeks to:
- Develop a shared vision and implement initiatives to address the challenges facing mathematics in an era of technological, climate, and social transitions, among others;
- Support joint initiatives carried out by at least two constituent units in the areas of education, scientific outreach, and basic and applied research;
- Share experiences, particularly regarding issues related to partnerships with industry and the promotion of mathematics in secondary schools.
